HISD Kids First Head Start campus held the grand opening of their library and reading room made possible from coast to coast donations.  Hitchcock ISD Education Foundation partnered with  84 Lumber Co. and Gulf Coast Four Square Disaster Recovery Team to build a reading room for the 3 and 4 year olds at KFHS.  A nationwide book drive filled the shelves for these young students.  Many of these students were either displaced or homeless due to Hurricane Harvey. Thank you for your generous support!!!

Kiss a Pig on Valentines Day

The "Kiss a Pig" event was a huge success!  Principal Edmundson at Crosby Middle School won the contest and KISSED the PIG!  Superintendent Vickroy was a good sport and followed.  Principal Mancini also kissed the pig for her elementary students.  Principal Line won a Pizza Party Education Celebration with 63% of her faculty and staff donating to the Education Foundation.  The lucky winner from Stewart Elementary is pictured above with our President, Kathy Cruse presenting the gift card donated by Texas First Bank.
